To cook while on a camping trip, in the country, or just relaxing outside the city, you can use the compact camping stove made by yourself from a propane tank.

The first step is to unscrew the valve and fill the tank with water. A couple of times you need to rinse the balloon, then fill it again and you can start cutting with a grinder.

First, cut off the top of the container, then you need to make a round hole on the side. In this case, the author cuts the metal with a plasma cutter, but you can get by with the grinder.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the master cuts off a piece of a round pipe of suitable diameter and welds it to the cylinder, in the place where the hole was cut.

From sheet metal, it will be necessary to cut out a stand for dishes (pots or pans), which then need to be welded to the top of the container.

But before that, it is necessary to weld a steel grid with large diamond-shaped cells to the stand. If this is not at hand, you can make a square-cell grid made of rods.

Next, the author cuts three metal rods, which are welded to the bottom of the container. The result is legs.

Another grate is installed in the lower part of the cylinder - this will be the grate of the furnace.

The author cuts a door out of sheet metal. Holes need to be drilled in it: one in the center, the rest in a circle.

The author welds two nuts to the protruding part of the furnace, and then fastens the door with a bolt.

At the last stage, it remains only to clean all the welds and paint the metal with heat-resistant paint.
