To make the lighting in the home workshop as comfortable as possible for the eyes and adaptable to different tasks, we recommend that you make a swing frame from improvised materials.
As a light source, you can use a light-emitting diode (LED) lamp, which surpasses luminescent in its characteristics. In addition, they have a long service life.
With this device, it will be possible to illuminate only that area of the desktop (workbench) that you need at the moment.

The first thing we cut off from the steel channel is a length of 120 cm - this will be the "seat" for the LED lamp. It is one edge of the channel must be cut "groove" under the pipe of the desired diameter.
Next, cut the pipe to size, drill a hole in it, cut the thread and screw the fasteners. After that, we connect the pipe to the channel section at a right angle by welding.
We cut out a triangular plate from sheet metal and weld it between the pipe and the channel - this will be the stiffener of the swing frame for the LED lamp.
Construction assembly process
In the rear wall of the channel, we drill several holes for steel latches, latches, to which the LED lamp will be attached. We insert a tube of a smaller diameter into the pipe, two elongated nuts are welded to the inner walls of which (at the edges).
Then we fasten the "ears" on the sides of the pipe to mount the swing frame, which can be cut from a steel corner. We fix the structure on the wall and the LED lamp for the workbench is ready for use.
