To quickly mark and cut a profile pipe at a right angle, an ordinary square is used, which can be bought at any hardware store.
In principle, with this tool you can mark the workpiece at an angle of 45 degrees by applying a ruler to the square. However, in some situations (especially with large volumes of work) this is not always convenient. Therefore, for cutting a profile at 45 degrees, you can make a simple template.
The main stages of work
To make this home-made fixture, you will need two small sections of the profile pipe: 60x60 mm and 40x40 mm. We mark them with a square with a ruler at an angle of 45 degrees and cut off with a grinder.
Next, we drill one hole in the profiles in pieces and cut the blanks in half - in the end we got two ready-made templates. At the next stage of work, it will be necessary to weld the nuts to the previously drilled holes into which the clamping studs are screwed.
To the upper ends of the studs are welded knobs made of steel round bar or other improvised materials. Then we clean the places of welding with a grinder and home-made templates for cutting profile pipes of different sizes at an angle of 45 degrees are ready for work.
