Today, various DIY crafts are very popular, which can be used both as an original gift or to decorate a home interior. Such manual homemade products are notable for the fact that absolutely any materials that are at hand are suitable for their manufacture.
For example, you can make a beautiful souvenir from an old light bulb with an incandescent spiral in just half an hour, which will be a great gift for any reason. In addition to the light bulb, you will also need some kind of toy (for example, from Kinder surprise), small multi-colored stars and sparkles.
The process of making souvenirs
First of all, it is necessary to carefully remove the bulb base. Then, using a drill or dremel, we cut off the protruding glass rim and remove irregularities. We rinse the lamp with water and let it dry.
We take a plastic cap from the bottle, fill it with hot glue - we make a soft "pillow" on which a small toy is installed (the dimensions must be compact so that the toy fits in a light bulb).
We pour a few multi-colored stars and silver spangles inside the glass case, after which we glue a plastic cork with a toy on the hot glue. The junction must be additionally glued with superglue ("Moment" or others).
We take a red-hot steel wire (preferably hard) and make a small hole in the lid, through which, using a syringe with a needle, fill the water. The hole itself is “corked” with hot melt adhesive. At the last stage, a round wooden stand for the light bulb is made.
