Even the most mundane materials can be used to create various original crafts. For example, from the bolts with nuts that can be found in every house and garage, you can make a very interesting craft with your own hands - a monkey figure.
Of the basic materials for the manufacture of such a "toy" you will need:
- one bolt with an extended nut M12;
- four long bolts with a diameter of 6 mm;
- piece of screw M6 with a hat;
- two M8 nuts and two M6 nuts;
- one cap nut with a diameter of 8 mm;
- piece of steel wire.
The main stages of work
To make an iron monkey with your own hands, you will not need to perform welding work, engage in forging and other complex operations.
The simplicity of manufacture is the main and obvious advantage of this homemade product - if you want to make this funny "toy" yourself, absolutely anyone can do it, even one who does not do crafts at a professional level.
A bolt with an extended M12 nut will act as the body of the monkey. The front and rear legs can be made of long bolts with a diameter of 6 mm. Only two bolts that will be used as hind legs need to be bent a little - this is most conveniently done in a vice.
From the remaining nuts, as well as trimming the screw with a convex hat, we make a face, eyes and ears of a monkey, and a piece of steel bent wire will act as a tail.
