To make the operation process of a homemade rocket furnace made of a 100x100 mm profile tube as comfortable as possible, you can slightly modify the design of this mini-installation. For example, make for her a large hob.
A very good idea that is easy to put into practice. Due to the presence of the hob, it will be possible to cook various first and second courses without problems, not in aluminum or tin cans, but in normal dishes, without fear of spoiling or soiling it.
To make a hob for a home-made rocket furnace, two pieces of sheet metal with a thickness of about 2-3 mm in rectangular shape will be required. On the edges of the workpieces, it is necessary to make borders up to 3 cm high.
The main stages of work
In blanks from sheet metal, we cut one square hole of 100x100 mm (according to the size of the profile pipe). These holes in the metal can be cut both with a plasma cutter and a grinder.
At the next stage, we weld steel sheets together so that the cut square "windows" are on different sides. On the sides we weld pieces of strip of suitable width. In the lower part of the profile pipe 100x100 mm, four pieces need to be cut, leaving only the legs.
