A parking system is a very useful thing for a modern motorist. This simple electronic device will help the driver when parking and turning. A special sensor installed on the dashboard will sound an alarm in time and show the remaining distance to the obstacle.
A simple Chinese-made system will prevent unwanted damage to the bumper or car body when parking the car and increase the accuracy of maneuvering. At the same time, the price of such a parking radar is quite reasonable.
You can install parking sensors in a special service or do it yourself. The delivery set includes the main control unit, 4 sensors, an alarm system with a digital display, connecting wiring and a crown for drilling holes in the bumper. Anyone with small locksmithing skills will be able to cope with the installation.
The process of installing Chinese parking sensors on a car
We start by installing parking sensors. Dismantle the rear lights of the car to access the internal cavity of the rear bumper. Using a drill and core drill, we make holes in the bumper. The holes should be on the same line and equidistant from each other (there is a detailed diagram in the device manual).
We insert sensors into the holes obtained, which are fixed in the bumper wall with plastic latches. The wiring from each sensor is displayed in the luggage compartment. Next, we proceed to the installation of the main unit.
We choose a place on the side wall of the trunk of a car. Using double-sided tape we fasten the parking control unit. We connect the wiring from each sensor to special blocks of the main unit (strictly according to the instructions). We bring the negative wire from the power supply to the mass of the car, connect the positive wire to the positive terminal of the reverse lamp.
At the last stage, we install the notification unit. The unit is placed in any convenient place in the passenger compartment (on the dashboard, dashboard), so that the display is clearly visible. We connect the main unit to the alarm unit with special wiring. Installation completed.
