In the process of welding, it is often necessary to quickly and most importantly - to securely fix the parts to be welded. Conventional clamps are not always able to do this. To do this, you can make compact mini clamps.

First of all, it is necessary to cut off four identical blanks of 5 cm each from a 40 mm wide metal strip. Then, in each part, the master drills one hole. Further, in each detail, with the help of a grinder, the master makes shallow cuts.
Step-by-step mini clamp manufacturing process
After the cuts are made, part of each workpiece must be ground using a flap wheel. As a result, the plates should have a small step.
Next, you need to connect the workpieces in pairs with bolts with elongated nuts (in the end, two mini clamps are obtained). Then the master inserts metal sleeves onto the nuts, which are welded to the surface of the plate.
