If there is no lathe, but you need to process wooden workpieces (for example, to make candlesticks or a handle on a tool from a bar), you can use a drilling machine. But for this it will be necessary to make two "nozzles".
First of all, the master drills a hole in a metal plate. Then you need to insert a bolt into this hole. The cap of the bolt is welded to the plate.
Then you will need to cut a piece of steel pipe. It is necessary to weld a piece of a plate with a bolt to it (first, a disk according to the diameter of the pipe will need to be cut from it).
The main stages of work
In a metal pipe, it will be necessary to drill three holes (approximately in the center) at the same distance from each other, and then weld three nuts to them. The welder cleans the weld spots with a grinder.
The next step is to cut off a piece of a rectangular plate. On the sides you need to drill holes for the mounting bolts. A steel bar is welded in the center of the plate, and next to it is a piece of thick-walled pipe.
Well, then the master performs the installation of the manufactured "nozzles" on the drilling machine. Now you can start processing the wooden blanks.
