However, the bench vice should be of suitable size to fit on a bed with a grinder. For the manufacture of this device, pieces of a metal corner, a piece of a plate, a steel strip, as well as case bearings with a rod will be required.
First of all, the master cuts off from the corner 32 * 32 mm two pieces 12 cm long and two 13 cm long pieces. From the obtained blanks, it will be necessary to weld a rectangular frame, on which case bearings with a rod will then be located.
The main stages of work
Next, in a bench vise, it will be necessary to drill two holes and thread into them. Also, two holes need to be drilled in the bed. Then the bed from the corners is screwed to a vice with two bolts.
At the next stage, it is necessary to drill more holes in the corners, and install a pair of housing bearings on them together with the shock absorber rod.
After that, from the metal strip, it will be necessary to make a mount for the grinder. Also, the master cuts a piece of steel plate. The fastening must be welded to the plate, and the plate itself - to the rod. But first of all, it is necessary to smoothly set the angle grinder circle, and then you can start welding.
