In the process of performing carpentry work, the connection "oblique screw" is often used. And for this, a template for drilling holes is used.

You can make such a template with your own hands from a wooden bar and anchors. Instead of anchors, it is allowed to use pieces of a metal tube.

First of all, the author saws off a bar of the required size (in this case, the workpiece has dimensions 50x50x75 mm). It will need to be ground on a grinding machine or with a grinder.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, two holes need to be drilled in a wooden block, stepping 12 mm on one side and 14 mm on the other. The author drills the holes on a drilling machine (for the entire length of the bar).

After the through holes are drilled, it is necessary to cut off part of the wooden bar (template) at an angle of 15 degrees. The cut point must be sanded so that the surface is even.

Then, sleeves from anchors are inserted into the holes (or pieces of a metal tube can be taken). To fix them, the master uses two-component glue. The excess part of the liners or tubes must be cut off with a grinder.

The fixture is pressed by the clamp to the workpiece, after which you can drill holes. Please note that for this you need to use a special drill.
