In this review, the master decided to make a do-it-yourself cutting machine with a broach based on a manual circular. Such a machine can be completely used in a home workshop and garage.
A cutting disc in a cutting machine with a broach is mixed in two planes: vertically and horizontally. This allows you to cut billets of metal in longitudinal section.
The first step is to remove the support sole from the circular. Then the author fastens a fastener welded from pieces of a corner and a metal plate to a protective casing.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, you need to cut off two pieces of the corner and drill holes in them. After that, the author fastens two guides with movable support elements to them.
Next, the master bolts two pieces of the corner to the supporting elements, having previously drilled holes in them. On the sides of the corners are interconnected using plates.
From the pieces of the profile pipe, it will be necessary to weld the base for the cutting machine. The base itself has a rectangular shape.
After that, it remains only to weld the platform itself with the guides to the base, and install a circular.
