In this review, a Mexican welder shows how to make a simple but practical rocket stove.

It can be used in the country as an alternative way of cooking.

For the manufacture of a rocket furnace, profile tubes of square section 80 * 80 mm or 100 * 100 mm can be used.

First, cut off three segments of the profile: two short and one long. Some of the short segments must be cut at an angle of 45 degrees.

The main stages of work

In a long section of a profile pipe, you need to cut a rectangular hole. Also, from the scraps of reinforcement, the master makes a partition inside the profile pipe.

In the next step, it will be necessary to weld the workpieces from the profile pipe together. Welds need to be cleaned with a petal circle.

After that, the author makes a pivot door in the ash pan. Also, with its help, you can adjust the intensity of combustion.

First, two holes must be drilled in the profile, and then a stud of a suitable diameter with a thread on the end must be inserted into them.

Then a piece of a metal plate is welded to this pin (the size is slightly smaller than the internal section of the profile pipe).

It will also be necessary to make a door with a handle on the combustion chamber (for laying firewood) and make a blow at the bottom of the heat pipe.

The final part of the work

Now it will be necessary to make legs for the rocket furnace. For this, the author uses four pieces of round steel pipe.

To the body of the rocket furnace, the author first welds pieces of a pipe of a larger diameter, and legs are already inserted into them. They are fixed with bolts.

At the last stage, it remains only to make a stand for dishes. The author made a stand out of pieces of reinforcement that are welded to the top of the flame tube.
