In this review, the author shares the idea of how to make a wooden folding table-desk for the little schoolboy (primary school student) with his own hands.
Such a table is convenient in that it can be quickly folded and removed to the side after completing the lessons. At the same time, he himself is distinguished by compact dimensions.
This idea is relevant for small rooms. To make a table, you will need boards and a furniture board from which the countertop will be cut. Still need furniture hinges.
Design features
The design of the table is quite simple. First you need to glue the U-shaped frame, to which two L-shaped legs are attached to the hinges.
The tabletop itself is attached with hinges to the U-shaped frame, and when the table is laid out, it rests on the legs.
To the inner side of the countertop at the edges the author screwed the stops-stops for legs. In the upper part of the legs you need to make cuts for the loops. The loops themselves are bolted to wooden blocks that are attached to the U-shaped frame.
At first glance, the design of the table seems unstable, but for a first-grader, it is quite suitable. The advantage of this table is that it develops - made lessons and put aside.
