Why not make a sandblasting machine? This thing in any home workshop is really useful. The author uses a propane cylinder as a container for sand.
Before you cut it with a grinder, you must definitely bleed all the gas and drain the condensate. And to do it better away from home - it stinks terribly.
But that is not all. The cylinder will need to be washed with water (it is possible with the addition of detergent) to wash the condensate remaining on the inner walls.
Yes, and it is better to cut it, too, after filling it with water - away from sin.

The main stages of work
First of all, we cut off the “collar” at the top of the cylinder and unscrew the valve. If you can’t unscrew it in any way, then you will have to cut it.
Next, we clean the future place of welding with a grinder and weld the coupling. Welds will also need to be cleaned (this is more for aesthetics).
On the side of the cylinder we drill a hole, and then we weld the flare. First you need to clean the paint on the bottle.
The shoe in the lower part of the cylinder also needs to be cut off with a grinder - in this case it will not be useful to us.
In the next step, we drill a hole in the bottom of the container, and weld a flange with an external thread of ½ inch.
After that, you need an axle with wheels, to which you need to weld two pieces of a profile pipe. Then we weld it all to the cylinder.
On the opposite side, the master welds the stop from the profile pipe. Cut to the desired length in place.
You need to weld a handle to the top of the container (for example, you can remove the finished one from the old scooter). After that, we clean the metal with a petal circle, primer and paint.
Sandblasting assembly
First of all, we screw the tap into the coupling welded to the top of the cylinder.
A tee is to be screwed onto the lateral side, onto which a crane is screwed, and into it is the outlet to the compressor. A fitting is screwed into the lower end of the tee.
First, we wind a tap on the lower bend, then a tee and two fittings on the sides.
Then, using an oxygen hose, the author connects the side fitting with one of the bottom.
We put another hose on the second lower fitting, at the end of which a crane with a nozzle is installed. The sandblasting machine is ready for use.
By the way, a nozzle for sandblasting can be made economical if an insulator from an internal combustion engine spark plug is used for its manufacture. In this case, the consumption of sand will be less.
