I think that for some, this method may come in handy, maybe not right now of course, but someday ...
Will need
To search for fasteners made of ferrous metals, we need:
- Normal thread 1 m.
- Little magnet. Anyone will do: from the refrigerator, from the earphone, from the motor, etc.
How to search?
Everything is as always very simple. We tie a thread to the magnet so that it does not fly out of it when searching. And that’s all! Our miracle detector is ready.
Next, hanging on a string of magnets, we draw along the necessary sections of the wall. As soon as the magnet detects the metal, it will magnetize itself to it, thereby indicating the place where the metal will be. If there isn’t enough force to magnetize, then by the oscillations of the magnet it will be clearly noticeable where a nail or a stud is hiding in the wall. Tear off a piece of masking tape and notice the place.
Very good results are obtained using neodymium magnets. These usually stand in the speakers of cell phones. True, their shape will not allow you to bind them with a rope. But in this case, it can save superglue, with which you can glue a thread to it in a couple of seconds.
In principle, everything is available. Take note, friends!
In the video you will clearly see the entire procedure for finding a metal stud in the wall.
