DIY gifts are gaining popularity in Russia from year to year. And this is wonderful, the manufacturer puts a piece of his creative soul, the warmth of his hands in such souvenirs. Today I will talk about how to make bullfinch soap. Winter theme makes soap a wonderful gift for the upcoming holidays of the New Year and Christmas. And at other times of the year, such beauty can be pampered by relatives and friends. Handmade soap is not only surprisingly beautiful, but also useful. Indeed, it contains natural oils and additives, the unique properties of which are known to everyone.
In work we will use:
• Soap base (transparent and white);
• Form "Bullfinches";
• Liquid pigment dye, yellow, purple, red, black, blue;
• Shea butter (shea butter);
• Fragrance "Confectionery store";
• Mother of pearl silver;
• Glitter of blue color;
• Plastic cups;
• Liquid for removing bubbles (alcohol);
• Electronic scales;
• Wooden stick for mixing;
• Toothpicks.

Most of the time will be spent on the manufacture of small parts. First, cut off 15 grams of soap base (transparent), chop with a knife and place in a plastic cup.

You can use other dishes for these purposes, but plastic is convenient for me. It is a great temptation not to wash them after use, but to throw them out right away. But I try not to do this, given their harm to the environment. We put the soap base in the microwave oven at an average power level. We drown for about 30 seconds. It is better to look in the microwave more often than to allow boiling soap. Add 4 drops of red pigment, mix. Sprinkle the mold with alcohol, and fill the place under the berries.

As soon as they grabbed, we tilt the form, (for these purposes I use a silicone stand to keep the mold even at an angle), and fill the bottom of the bird (bullfinch belly).

We spray everything with alcohol again. At first glance, it may seem that the colors are pale, but when we fill the main soap, it will give them the desired brightness.
Now take 10 grams of an opaque base, cut it and stoke. Add 5-6 drops of yellow pigment and 2 - purple. As a result, we get a brown color. If you have a ready-made brown pigment paste - great. It is important to use pigment dyes in multi-color soap, and not food colors, due to the migration of the latter in the finished soap, that is, the colors will begin to blur after a couple of days, and there will be no exact lines. Fill our branches.

It is not necessary to try to do everything very carefully when the layer dries, we take a toothpick and remove all the irregularities.

Now we take 10 grams of a white base, drown it, and pour snow on the branches, snowflakes and bullfinch (without a head).

We wait until everything cools down, and again we remove all excess blunders. It will turn out like this.

In a bullfinch, white soap should go beyond the edges of red. In nature, there are no clear boundaries, so the bullfinch can be different. After that, we heat 5 grams of a transparent base and add 3 drops of black dye. Fill the head of the bullfinch (photo 9) and the tail.

Then in this remaining base add 5 grams of a white base to make a gray color, and fill the top of the bullfinch.

Again, remove all excess with a toothpick. After that, you can sprinkle the form with alcohol and lightly wipe with a cotton swab so that there are no soap crumbs. Such preparation should turn out.

The only thing left is small - we drown 60 grams of the white base, add shea butter, flavor (10 drops), glitter and mother of pearl at the tip of the stick, mix everything quickly, and sprinkle it with alcohol and fill it.

Glitter and mother of pearl will give our soap a festive look. We wait about an hour and listen.

But that's all. The first messengers of the New Year mood are ready. Come up with an original form of packaging (it can be a box or craft bag). And your gift is ready!
