He began to solder and upgrade his super-sophisticated systematic as always. And I, not knowing what to do, climbed into his trash box and began to dig around, and found there an ordinary Chinese motor. And then I got the idea, and not insert it into the mouse. By the way, instead of a motor, you can use a vibrator from an old mobile phone. Just before the computer, I had a Sony prefix, and she had joysticks with a vibro function, it was very fun to play. And then we played Far Cry. So I thought that it would not be bad when during shooting, at the moment when the button is pressed, the mouse will shake as if it were a kickback.

Where did i start

Opened a Logitech mouse. This is the simplest, most common optical wired mouse.

I carefully looked at what is inside, microcircuits, parts, buttons, some .... Boredom.

Soldered two wiring. The first is +5 volt power, as it turned out later. This is the middle wire of five that come from the block, it is red. The second wire was soldered to the button of the left key. The photo shows that this is the left button contact. The red wire, this is my wire that goes to the motor. It is indicated by a red arrow.

Further ... I check if such a simple circuit works. I solder a diode instead of a light motor, and press a button. Hurrah! The diode lights up when the button is pressed.

This means that the motor will also work. For preliminary success, we drink beer and I continue. Soldered diode. And he took up the installation of the motor in the floor empty mouse salon. I decided to put the motor on a special glue. This glue quickly sets when its temperature drops. That is, he needs a special gun or a soldering iron. I warm the glue and put it on the microcircuit, and while it spreads and while it is hot, I mount the motor. The glue seizes, after which I begin to pour glue in all places where it is possible. This is so that the motor does not tear off during its operation. So, the motor is in place. I begin to make loads that, putting on the axis of the engine, during rotation with an offset from the axis, they will create vibration.

Everything is very simple. I took a small metal cylinder from the handle. 7 mm in diameter and 7 mm long. I took 3 lead bullets from an air gun. Pliers flattened them. And put it into the cylinder, previously pouring it with hot glue. Until the glue had cooled in the cylinder, I put it on the motor axis. The glue has cooled. First test. It seemed to me that the load was small, since the vibration was quite high-frequency. Well, this is understandable, for a lower frequency Vibration it is necessary either to shift the load further from the axis, or add the weight of the load. Which I did. I screwed a screw into the cylinder. After which the vibration became very strong and a little noisy. Here is how it looks.

Closed the mouse. I tried to press a button a couple of times. Joy was not an aisle when she began to vibrate. Since the result exceeded all expectations. The vibration is so strong that the mouse is hard to hold. Launched the game, Far Edge. I tried to shoot from the M-16. During shooting, the mouse shakes so that it was impossible to shoot accurately. But it was more realistic to play like that. All the more so since I played better than my friend and we just lacked equal strength in the game. After I began to shoot less accurately, the game went on much more interesting.

From a simple mouse I made a vibro mouse, which has no analogues in the world. He proved to a friend that I did not burn the computer. He scared mom to death. When she sat at my computer without me and made the first click, she had a wild shock. She doesn’t sit at the computer without me anymore.
